Tech Writing Intern

As part of the requirements for graduation, I completed a technical writing internship at a local robotics company, an exciting opportunity to work in the field in which I hope to make my career. This particular company had only just created a tech doc department within the company, so I was able to both contribute to and observe the work of developing the department from the ground up, a highly valuable experience.

Thanks to the kind permission from the company, I am able to share some of the work I did; note that all identifying/sensitive information has been removed.

The documents include:

1. A document template for company-wide use for official documentation.
2. A how-to template for use as the company updates their manuals and guides.
3. A example of an in-progress guide, conceived as a conversation between the tech doc team and the subject matter experts.
